1. Trim the Wick
- Always trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn.
- This helps prevent excessive flickering, sooting, and uneven burns.
2. Burn Candles for an Even Melt Pool
- On the first use, burn your candle until the wax has melted to the edges of the container. This establishes an even wax pool and helps the candle burn uniformly in future uses.
- As a rule of thumb, burn for no longer than 4 hours at a time.
3. Keep Candles Clean
- Remove debris like matches or wick trimmings from the wax to maintain a clean and consistent burn.
4. Store Candles Properly
- Keep your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid discoloration and melting.
5. Monitor Candle Burn Life
- Discontinue use when only ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container to prevent overheating.
